Benjamin Mehrer

Benjamin Mehrer is a lifelong Abbotsford resident, community leader, and advocate for students and families. Raised by a single mother and educated in Abbotsford's public school system, Benjamin understands firsthand the impact that strong schools and supportive educators can have on a student's future.

A graduate of ASIA Sumas and the University of the Fraser Valley, Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Integrated Studies with a minor in Communications while working full-time. He was the first in his family to complete a university degree.

Professionally, Benjamin serves as a Market People Manager with DME Investments, supporting more than 400 employees across multiple restaurants in Abbotsford. His work focuses on leadership development, youth employment, recruitment, training, and creating opportunities for people to succeed.

Beyond his career, Benjamin is actively involved in the community through organizations including Archway Community Services and the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce. He believes that strong schools build strong communities and that every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
