Benjamin volunteered at the Crystal Gala 2025, supporting an evening dedicated to bringing the community together in support of a meaningful local cause. Mayor's Lunch 2026

Benjamin attended the 2026 Mayor’s Lunch, joining local business leaders, community organizations, elected officials, and residents in celebrating the partnerships that continue to strengthen Abbotsford. The event provided an opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas, and reaffirm his commitment to collaborative community leadership.

Archway Golf 2026 with Fellow UFV Alum

Benjamin attended the 2026 Archway Golf Tournament in support of Archway Community Services and its work to strengthen the Abbotsford community. He recognizes the important partnership between community organizations and schools in supporting children, youth, and families. When schools and organizations like Archway work together, students are better equipped with the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to learn, grow, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Abbotsford Canucks Calder Cup Win

Benjamin celebrated the Abbotsford Canucks’ historic Calder Cup championship, recognizing the important role that sport plays in building strong communities. Local sports bring people together, inspire the next generation of athletes, foster civic pride, and teach valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. Benjamin believes that investing in opportunities for people of all ages to participate in and enjoy sport helps create healthier, more connected communities.

Supporting the Archway Food Bank

Benjamin proudly supports the Archway Food Bank and recognizes the vital role it plays in strengthening the Abbotsford community. He is also a strong supporter of the Starfish Pack Program, which provides weekend backpacks filled with nutritious food for students facing food insecurity. Benjamin believes that no child should have to learn on an empty stomach and that partnerships between schools, community organizations, and volunteers are essential to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Cultural Diversity Awards

Benjamin attended the Cultural Diversity Awards to celebrate the individuals, organizations, and community leaders who are making Abbotsford a more welcoming and inclusive place for everyone. He believes that embracing diversity enriches our schools and strengthens our community by fostering understanding, respect, and belonging.
